we have given that,

DIAMETER(d)=28cm nd RADIUS(r)=28/2=14cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of circle=πr²

area of quadrant=1/4πr²

Now,

area of shaded portion= area of circle - 2*area of quadrant

                                       = πr²- 2*1/4πr²

                                       = 22/7* 14*14 - 2*1/4*22/7*14*14

                                         =610-308

                                        = 302 cm² ans
