Let the length be '5x' and breadth be '3x'
2(5x + 3x) = 128
2*8x = 128
8x=64
x = 8
length = 5x = 40 m
breadth = 3x = 24 m

Area of rectangular field = legth × width
Let , the ratio between length and breadth be x.
So, Length = 5x and Breadth = 3x
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
Given ,length and breadth in ration 5:3
Therefore ,
length ( l )=5x and br3adth|ro (b)=3x.
2(5x+3x)=128
2(8x) =128
16x = 128
x=8
Hence,
l = 5× 8 = 40 and b= 3× 8 = 24.
