Thus, forming an requisite equation and doing the required calculation, we will find the value of x i.e, the required number.

According to the question,

➤ ( 6 + x )8 = ( 26 × 10 ) + 12

➤ 48 + 8x = 260 + 12

➤ 48 + 8x = 272

➤ 8x = 272 - 48

➤ 8x = 224

➤ x = 224/8

➤ x = 28

The required number = 28
