Of the following statements all the statements are true about alloys.
- Alloys are formed as a mixture of two or more metals or non-metals. For example , 30% of Zinc and 70% Copper is the exact ratio to form brass.
- Their composition is uniform throughout and the mixture is considered to a homogeneous one. Hence, the first two statements are completely correct.
- Alloys do not fit perfectly in the definition of pure substances as they resemble the property of their constituents and cannot be separated by common physical methods. Usually complex methods like Liquation is used to separate metal from an alloy. Hence, third statement is also correct.
