R2. The no. of boys and girls in a class
are in the ratio 5:4, If the no.
of boys is 9 more than no. of girls
find no. of girls and boys.​

Let the no. of boys be 5x and no. of girls be 4x

given 5x - 4x= 9

x=9

therefore no. of boys = 9X5 = 45
