Dandi March, or also called Salt Satyagrah, was a non-violent protest (against the Salt Law imposed by British Government) leaded by Mahatma Gandhi.
It started from 12th March, 1930 from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad and ended on 5th April, 1930 at Dandi. They covered a distance of 385 kilometers while visiting cities, towns and village along there way.
Thousands of peoples and supporters joined them. On 6th April, by picking handful of salt, Gandhiji broke the salt law.
