Gokul Bhai Bhatt is referred to as Gandhi of Rajasthan.

Born on 25th January 1899, in village Hathal, Sirohi, Rajasthan is called as Gandhi as for several years i.e. 1972 to 1981, he made attempts for alcohol prohibition and was awarded the Jamunalal Bajaj Award in 1982.

 He is also called the father of modern Rajasthan as he constantly worked for the betterment of the state.

गोकुल भाई भट्ट को राजस्थान के गाँधी के रूप में जाना जाता है। इनका जन्म सन् 1898 में 19 फरवरी को राजस्थान के सिरोही जिले में हुआ था।

ये सुप्रसिद्ध स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे और बहुत जाने माने और विख्यात कवी, एक अच्छे वक्ता, बहुभाषावादी भी थे। इन्हें एक सच्चे समाजसेवक के रूप में जाना जाता था और इन्ही के कारण लोग तिरंगे वाली टोपी पहनने लगे थे।

1948 में ये कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष भी रहे थे राजस्थान के लिए। इन्होनें अपनी शिक्षा बम्बई से ही हासिल की।
