let the no of chocolates Rahul have be x.
Now,
a/q
x/3+x/6+30=x
or(10x+5x+900)/30=x
or(15x+900)/30=x
or15x+900=30x. (by cross multiply)
or15x-30x=-900
orx=60
Hence,the no of chocolates Raahil have is 60 and he gave 20 to his brother and10 chocolates to his friends.ans
