radhika has created a folder named unwanted files. this folder contains the files which she uses rarely. the regular folder icon does not signify much about the type of contents that this folder contains. she wants to use a suitable icon for this folder. help her do the same.

Step 1: Right-click on a folder you want to customize and select "Properties."
Step 2: In the "Customize" tab, go to the "Folder icons" section and click the "Change Icon" button.
Step 3: Choose one of the many icons listed in the box then click OK. These icons are located in C:\Windows\system32\SHELL32.dll.
Step 4: For more icon choices, browse to C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dl.
That's it. Now you can browse through your Windows folders with a little style. They're not only pretty to look at it, but easier to find too.
BUT REMEMBER THIS ONLY WORKS ON WINDOWS 7

if your operating system is WINDOWS, then you can follow the steps below to change the icon.
1) Select the folder
2) left click the mouse button and select PROPERTIES
3)Click the CUSTOMIZE ballet and you will find CHANGE ICON option
4)there you can find a variety of icons which can be selected
5) Click APPLY below, to apply the settings that you have made
6) REFRESH and your new icon is set
