The radical nationalists or extremist leaders dominated the Indian National Congress between 1905 to 1920. Lala Lajpat Rai from Punjab, Bipin Chandra Pal from Bengal and Bal Gangadhar Tilak from Maharashtra were the prominent leaders of the radicals.
They believed that boldness was required for any success. They wanted complete Swaraj. They encouraged radical methods in politics like boycott of British goods and government services.
