let proportionality constant is t
so,
Height of cone=12t
radius of cone =5t
now,
volume of cone =pi. (5t)^2 . (12t)/3
314 = 3.14 x 25 x 4 x (t^3)
t^3=1
take cube root both side
t=1
now,
slant height=root {height^2+radius^2}
=13 cm
so,
Height of cone=12t
