Hi ,

It is given that ,

Radius of the circle ( r ) = 10 cm

angle of the arc ( x° ) = 54°

π = 3.14

Area of the sector ( A ) = ( x/360 ) × πr²

A = ( 54/360 ) × 3.14 × 10²

A = 47.1 cm²

Therefore ,

area of the sector = A = 47.1 cm²

I hope this helps you.

Answer:

Area of arc = 47.1 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of a circle is 10 cm. Measure of an arc of the crcleis 54°. Find the area of the sector associated with the arc. (π= 3.14 )

Area of a circle = π * Radius²

Radius = 10 cm

π = 3.14

=> Area of circle = (3.14) * 10² = 314 cm²

Total angle for circle = 360°

Measure of an arc of circle = 54°

Area of arc = ( Arc Angle/360°) * area of circle

=> Area of arc = (54°/360°) * 314

=> Area of arc = 47.1 cm²
