(1). Area of circle

$= \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3}$

= 4/3 × π × (4.72)^3

= 4/3 × 330.18371072

= 440.24494..

= 440.24 m^3 (significant digits)

(2). surface area of -sphere

$= 4\pi {r}^{2}$

= 4 × 3.14 × 4.72 × 4.72 m^2

= 279.816704 m^2

= 279.82 m^2 (significant digit)
