answer.

Time Rafiq exercised=

3

hours

Time Rohit exercised=

4

3

hours

Comparing

6

3

and

4

3

Since the denominators are different, we have

Common denominator=LCM of 6 and 4

Factors of 6=2×3

Factors of 4=2×2

L.C.M=2×2×3=12

So,

6

Now,

SOLUTION :-

Rafiq exercised for \large \frac{3}{6} hours.

And, Rohit excercised for \large \frac{3}{4} hours.

Now, \large \frac{3}{6} = \frac{3 × 2}{6 × 2} = \frac{6}{12}

and, \large \frac{3}{4} = \frac{3 × 3}{4 × 3} = \frac{9}{12}

\large \: \: \frac{9}{12} > \frac{6}{12} \: i.e, \: \frac{3}{4} > \frac{3}{6}

Thus, Rohit excercised for a longer time.
