When Raghav puts a steel glass at position p a shadow will be formed because steel glass will not allow the loght rays to pass through the glass as the glass is opaque, so shadow will be formed.

But when Raghav keeps a transparent Glass at position p no shadow will be formed because transparent glass will allow the light rays to pass through.
