Explanation:Let the speed of Raghu = 5x m/s and Rajan = 4x m/s

Time taken by Raghu to pass Rajan for the 1st time = 250/5x-4x = 250/x sec

Time taken by Raghu to finish the race = 400/5x = 800/x sec

Number of times Raghu passes Rajan = (800/x)/(250/x) = 3.2 ⇒ 3 times

hiiiii

your answer is here !

Step-by-step explanation:

=> Let the speed of Raghu = 5x m/s

and

=> Rajan = 4x m/s

=> Time taken by Raghu to pass Rajan for the 1st time = 250/5x-4x = 250/x sec

=> Time taken by Raghu to finish the race = 400/5x = 800/x sec

=> Number of times Raghu passes Rajan = (800/x)/(250/x) = 3.2

⇒ 3 times
