Firstly Lal to Rahul
P=830
R=12%
T=3
SI=PRT/100
SI=830*12*3/100
SI=298.8
A=830+298.8=1128.8
Now Rahul to Shobha,
P=830+X
R=14%
T=3
SI=PRT/100
SI=(830+X)*14*3/100
SI=0.42(830+X)
A=830+0.42(830+X)

A.T.Q.

830+0.42(830+X)=1128.8+93.90
830+0.42(830+X)=1222.7
0.42(830+X)=392.7
830+X=935
X=105
Hence he added 105.

Rahul added Rs 105 from has Side

Step-by-step explanation:

Rahul borrowed rs 830 from mr Lal at 12% p.a. s.i for 3 years

P = Rs 830

R = 12 %

T = 3 Years

SI = P * R * T/100

=> SI = 830 * 12 * 3 /100 = 298.8 Rs

Let say Rahul Added M rs

P = Rs 830 + M

R = 14 %

T = 3 Years

SI = P * R * T/100

=> SI = (830 +M) * 14 * 3 /100 =  348.6 + 0.42M  Rs

348.6 + 0.42M -  93.90 = 298.8

=> 0.42M = 44.1

=> M = 105

Rahul added Rs 105 from has Side
