Rahul coated top layer of all the leaves of plant A and bottom layer of all the leaves of plant with heavy layer of vaseline. then he keep both the plant in sunlight for a week. He noticed that the leaves of plant B died

a.Why do you think this happened

b. Will you notice same result in plant B if you cover only portion of leaf with vaseline.​

a. Because the plant stomata are on the underside of the leaf so if the underside was covered with Vasoline and then this stomata are blocked not allowing the plant’s leaves to breathe.

b. No as there are stomata all over the underside of the leaf
