when is Father's present age = 3x years

Rahul's age after 12 years =( X + 12)

his father's age after 12 years =(3 X + 12)

(3x+12)=2 (x+12)

=>3x+12=2x+24

=> 3x-2x=24-12=>x=12

Rahul's present age =12 years

his father's present age = (3 × 12 )years=36 years.

father y = thrice of x = 3x


y = 3x

after 12 years:

age of son = x + 12

age of father = 3x + 12



after 12 years , father will be twice as old as his son.

present age of son x = 12years

present age of father y = 3x = 3(12)
