Shortcut Trick

We know that monthly income/pocket money gets distributed into two groups further i.e. Expenditure and Saving.

So we always take Income as 100% and distribute Expenditure and Saving into it.

A.T.Q

⇢ Saving ≡ 1400

⇢ (Income - Spend) ≡ 1400

⇢ (100% - 60%) ≡ 1400

⇢ 40% = 1400

  • Dividing both by 10

⇢ 4% = 140

  • Multiplying both by 25

⇢ 100% = 3500

& we know that 100% is income monthly.

Hence, Rahul gets Rs. 3500 monthly.
