Rahul tried to jump out of a moving bus, what should be the safe way of getting down so that he gets minimum hurt?

He should first tell the driver or the conductor of the bus to stop the bus and then he should get down from the bus. Due to the law of inertia the person will face difficultly of getting down from a moving bus.
