Raincoats protect ourselves from getting wet during rainy days.

Raincoats are usually made up of polythene  Because :
* They absorb very negligible quantity of water.* It is light in weight.
* Dries up quickly
* Most Durable
* Wrinkle resistant.
If raincoats are made up of cotton then:
* It Absorbs more amount of water then we may get wet in rain which will not solve the purpose of wearing the raincoats on rainy day.
* It takes lot of time to get dry up
.
* cotton raincoats do not last for longer time.
* Not wrinkle resistant.

Conclusion : Hence raincoats are always made up of Polythene sheet.
