Solution:

Raj bought a computer for Rs. 30,000

CP = Rs 30000

loss of 10.0%.  = (10/100) 30000

= 3000 Rs

SP = 30000 - 3000  = 27000  Rs

CP for  Gautam  = Rs 27000

Loss 15 %

= (15/100) 27000

= 4050  Rs

SP = 27000 - 4050

= 22950  Rs

amount paid by Amit to purchase the computer = 22950  Rs
