Answer: 70 coins.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of Rs. 5 coins = x

∴ No. of Rs. 1 coins = 4x

∴ No. of Rs. 2 coins = 4x/2 = 2x

Total amount of rupees will be the number of coins multiplied by amount of rupees.

4x coins of 1 rupee = 4x rupees

x coins of 5 rupees = 5x rupees

2x coins of 2 rupees = (2) X 2x = 4x rupees

=> Total amount of Rupees = 910 (given in the question)

∴ 4x + 5x + 4x = 910

   13x = 910

   x = 70

Number of 5 Rupee coins is 70.

Question :-

Raj has some coins. In these, the number of one-rupee coins is four times the number of five - rupee coins and twice the number of two - rupee coins. If the value of all the coins is ₹910, find the number of five-rupee coins.

Answer :-

Let the number of 5-rupee coins be x.

Then, the number of 1-rupee coins is 4x and the number of 2-rupee coins is 4x/2 = 2x.

The total value of the coins is ₹(5 × x + 1 × 4x + 2 × 2x) = ₹13x.

From the question,

₹13x = ₹910

or, 13x = 910

or, x = 910/13 = 70.

Therefore, the number of 5-rupee coins is 70.
