Rajat is 5 years younger than his sister after 8 years the ratio of their ages will be 2:3 what will be their ages then

let age of soster be x
age of rajat = x + 5

after 8 years they are in ration 2:3

3(x+8) = 2(x+5+8)
3x + 24 = 2x + 26
3x - 2x = 26-24
x = 2
and
x+5=2+5=7
therefore

rajat is 7 years old

sister is 2 years old
