Direct and Indirect Speech.

• In Direct speech, we just quote what someone said in exactly the same manner.  There is no change in the said words.
• For example: John said to me, " I am going for an interview."
• In Indirect speech, We use our own words to repeat what someone said without using the speech marks. The context should be the same but the words can be different.
• For example, John told me that he was going for the interview.
