Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost price of radio set be 100

Then its selling price at 25% profit=100*120/100=125

Revised cost price and selling price are 100+100=200 and 125+100=225 respectively.

Revised selling price 225 is 120% of cost price.

Then revised cost price =225/120*100=204.55

Then original cost price=204.55–100=104.55

Answer:

let the cost price (cp) : 100

if their is 25% profit means selling price (sp)would be 125

therefore profit will be : sp-cp = 125-100= 25

so if

on 100 profit is 25, then for what cp will be profit is 65 i.e

100---------25

x-------------65

cross multiply and find x

x=( 100*65)/25

x= 260

so cost price is 260
