Given data :

Rate = ₹400/kg

GST = 5%

Bought =500g

Now,

1000 gram cost = 400 rs.

1 gram cost = 400/1000 rs.

500 gram cost = (400×500)/1000 = 200rs.

Now the added GST = {200×(5/100)} = ₹10

So,the total price = 200+10 = ₹210 (answer)
