You answer for this question will be C) 9

Sol:

Multiplying each of the given number with 10 then multiplying with 9 we get (9*10) = 90 then substract (230-90) = 140

I.e if we divide (140÷20) = 7

Hence the required number of Rs. 10 notes are 9.

Thank you ...

Answer:

(A) 5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 'x' be the no. of 20/- notes and 'y' be the no. of 10/- notes.

Given that,

x + y = 14

y = 14 - x-------1️⃣

Total Value of notes = Rs. 230/-

ie;

20 x + 10 y = 230

20 x + [10 × (14 - x)] = 230

20 x + 140 - 10 x = 230

20 x - 10 x = 230 - 140

10 x = 90

x = 9

1️⃣---------- y = 14 - x

y = 14 - 9

y = 5

The number of Rs. 10/- notes that Raju has = 5
