Let the work done by Vijay in 1-day = 'x'.

Given that Raju is twice as good as Vijay.

Then the work done by Raju in 1-day = '2x'.

Given that together they finish the work in 14 days.

So, work done by them in 1-day = (1/14).

= > x + 2x = (1/14)

= > 3x = (1/14)

= > x = (1/42).

So, Vijay alone can complete the work in 42 days.

Hope this helps!

Days taken by Raju to complete work = x

So,

Days taken by Vijay to complete the same amount of work =2x

Now,

Total work was done in 14 days,

1/x + 1/2x = 1/14

(2x + x) / (2x²) = 1/14

(3x)/(2x²) = 1/14

x= (14×30/2

x= 21

So,

Vijay can do the same work in 2x

=2×21

=42 days
