Given one side of room=3.5 mSince room is in the form of square. Therefore,Area of room=(side)2 =(3.5)2 =12.25 m2Hence 12.25 m2 carpet is required.

side = 3.5m

area = s X s

= 3.5 X 3.5

= 12.5 sq. mtrs

hence 12.5 sq. mtrs. carpet is required

amitnrw: 12.25m^2
