Raju started his journet to a certain place by car at 9 A.M.
And he reaches the place at 1 P.M.
So, he takes 4 hours to travel to that place by car. (9 AM → 10 AM [1hr] → 11 AM [1hr] → 12 AM [1hr] → 1 AM [1hr])
His speed was 30 km/h (GIVEN)
Now he have to reach there at 12 Noon or 12 PM.
So Now, time is decreasing to 3 hours.
By unitary method,
For 4 hours, his speed = 30 km/h
For 3 hours, his speed = ((30/4)×3) km/h = 22.5 km/h
Hence, Increase in speed = (30-22.5) km/h = 7.5 km/h
So, he should increase his speed by 7.5 km/h to reach the place within 3 hours, i.e., at 12 noon (12 PM)
