total table = 10
per table peoples sit = 2

then total guests = 10 * 2 = 20

sh24: it should 18 since only the no. of invited guests are asked so u must exclude the inviters
mudit11: exactly
ramanujan54: Sorry, the correct answer is 8. If Mrinali and Ramesh give a party and they they also sit in one table. And the remaining guests are8
mudit11: but 2 can sit on each table!
sh24: 2 people are mrinali and ramesh who would also sit on a table
mudit11: w t f is going on?

Who the hell sits on tables?

Anyway... here is the answer:

》 18 people were invited. (20-2)

》 Since the host will also sit then we must reduce 2 seats.

》 Otherwise 20 people were invited

ramanujan54: sorry, friend but you cannot grasp the meaning if the question. And ur answer is wrong.
