rakhis mother is four times as old as Rakhi . after 5 years her mother will be 3 times as old as she will be then find their present ages

Let Rakhi mother age = x
Rakhi age = y

x = 4y eq1

x + 5 = 3 (y + 5) eq2

Now put x in eq 2

4y + 5 = 3y + 15

y = 10

Put y in eq 1

x = 4×10 = 40

Mother age = 40
Rakhi age = 10
