Math, asked by adithrajesh83, 5 hours ago

Ram and syam were playing a game and krithi who is 1 year younger than ram was watching them play. Here is their conversation.Ram: shyam, think of a number in your mind and then double it.(Shyam told the number to krithi and the number was 5)Ram: add 6 to the result and then find the half of the number.Shyam did the calculation and got the result as (5+5+6)/2= 8.Ram : then subtract the number that you thought in the starting from the result, 3 is left behind.Krithi was so surprised by this and asked ram how did he get to know, he told her that he is a magician and started laughing.

1 What would be the result if the number that shyam thought was 4.

2. What would be the result if the number that shyam thought was 7/4and the number given by ram was 3/2. Does ram’s trick still work?

3. An algebraic expression representing this situation?

4.What would be the result if the number that shyam thought was -4.
