Answer:

The product was sold at Rs.4000

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the selling price of Ram and Shyam be Rs. x.

The cost price of Ram =

 \frac{125x}{100}

And cost price of Shyam =

 \frac{100x}{125}

According to the question,we have

( \frac{125x}{100} - x ) - (x -  \frac{100x}{125} ) = 200

 \frac{25x}{100}  -  \frac{25x}{125}  = 200

 \frac{x}{4}  -  \frac{x}{5}  = 200 \\  \frac{5x - 4x}{20}  = 200 \\  \frac{x}{20}  = 200 \\ x = 4000

The product was sold at Rs.4000
