Step-by-step explanation:

In one day, Ram and Shyam complete 3/20 and 1/15 of work respectively. In 4 days, together they complete 4*(3/20 + 1/15) = 4 *(13/60) = 52/60 or 13/15 of work, leaving 2/15 of work yet to be done. Shyam will complete this in 2 days at 1/15 per day.

it's is helpful ,so plz tell

Ram finish the work in 3 days.

So, work done by ram in one day = 1/3 rd part of work

Shayam finish the work in 6 days.

So, work done by shyam in one day = 1/6th part of work.

therefore work done by both in one day= 1/3 +1/6

= (2+1)/6 = 3/6 = 1/2.

Therefore work done by both Ram and Shyam = 2 days..

hope it helps....
