Answer:

287/5

Step-by-step explanation:

2/5+1/3+x =170/3

(6+5)/15 +x =170/3

11/15 +x =170/3

x=170/3-11/15

x=(850-11)/15

x=861/15

x=287/5

Answer:

The above solution is totally unacceptable(totally wrong).

Ok Here, is your right answer:

Given:

Ram covered a distance by bus = 2/5 km

Ram covered a distance by Metro Train = 1/3 km

Total distance Ram covered = 170/3 km

To find the distance that Ram has covered by foot be any km(°.° we don't know)

According to the given question, we have

Total distance covered by bus and Metro Train

= 2/5 + 1/3 = 11/15 km

.°. Distance left = 4/15 km

so, The required distance covered by Ram by foot = 4/15 × 170/3 = 680/45 = 136/9

15 \frac{1}{9}
