Ram has rupees 550 in the form of denominations of rupees 10 and 50. If no. of rupees 10 notes is one more than that of rupees 50 notes.Find the no. of notes of each denominations?

let the no. of notes of Rs 50 be x
the no. of notes of Rs 10 = x+1
According to the given condition
10(x+1)+50x=550
10x+10+50x=550
60x=550-10
60x=540
x=540/60
x=9
no. of notes of Rs 50 =x=9 notes
no. of notes of Rs 10 =x+1=9+1=10 notes
