purchase 15*8=120
purchase 25*10=250
total purchase suger =25+15=40
total purchase Rs.=370
profit 3 per kg =40*3
120
then selling price =370+120=490
490/40=12.25

Ram must sell rice at Rs. 10.4 per kg to earn a profit of Rs. 3/kg.
- Ram mixes 15 kg of sugar purchased at the rate of Rs. 8 with 25 kg of sugar purchased at Rs. 10 per kg.
- Total quantity of rice purchased = 25 + 25 = 50.
- Total cost in buying the rice = 15 × 8 + 25 × 10= 120 + 250 = Rs. 370.
- Now we have to find the selling price in which Ram should sell so that earns a profit Rs. 3 per kg.
- Now , the price of 1 kg of rice without any profit after mixing bot will be:
- Cost of 1 kg of rice after mixing = 370/50 = 7.4 Rs./kg
- Now Ram has to earn of profit of Rs. 3 per kg.
- Therefore , rate of 1 kg rice = 7.4 + 3 = 10.4 Rs./kg
