Subject : Poor sanitary conditions in the locality
Sir
I am a resident of the above mentioned locality and I want to draw your attention to the fact that the sanitary conditions of our locality have deteriorated to the worst conditions. If not taken care of soon, bigger problems may arise too.
The drains in the area are the major problem. They seem to be overflowing all the while. The streets are filled with sewage water which leaks from the drains. There always is a really bad odour and walking through the streets has become a menace.
The sweepers do their work properly but the garbage collection vehicle just dumps all the garbage on the edge of the locality and there already is a large heap of garbage over there.
We have also found out that insects like mosquitoes and flies have already started breeding on the heap and around the drains and spreading of diseases has started as well. Three people in our locality are already down with malaria and more 2 people have acquired diarrhoea.
Therefore, I request you to solve this problem before it gets larger and more people go down with diseases. We would be extremely grateful if you start solving this problem at the earliest.
