age of Ram let it be= x years
age of Ram's father = 4x years
age of Ram 5 years ago = x-5 year
age of rams father 5 year ago = 4x-5 years
given that before 5 years father's age is equal to 9 time to rams age ' two'
4x-5 = 9( x-5 )
4x-5= 9x-45
45-5 = 9x-4x
40 = 5x
x= 40/5
x=8
so ,now x = rams age now so, rams age now is 8 years
rams father's age = 4x
= 4x8
= 32 years
