Ram's target is to score average 80 marks
in quarterly and half yearly examinations.
But in quarterly exams his average was
reduced by 3 marks but in half yearly
exams his average increases by 2 marks.
If the difference of total marks in both
exams was 25, then according to Ram's
target, how much should have been his
total score.

\huge\green{ANSWER:-}

✬ let there are x no. of subjects

so in quarterly exam RAM gets total (80-3)*x=77x

and in half yearly exam RAM gets total (80+2)*x=82x

☞therefore 82x-77x=25

or,5x=25

so x=5

Total marks aimed by ram is 80*5=400
