Answer :-

Given that

No of flowers he have initially = 30

And ratio of no of flowers with whom he is left is to no of flowers he have in beginning

= 2:5

Now as we know that he have 30 flowers in beginning then

5 x = 30

=> x = 6

Now the number of flowers he is left with = 2x

= 2 × 6

= 12

There for no. of flowers he offered in Temple

= 30 - 12

= 18

Hope it helps
