Cost of 2 dozen egges = ₹ 48

Selling price of each egge = ₹ 2.25

TO FIND :

Profit or loss ?

SOLUTION :

Selling price of each egge = ₹ 2.25

Selling price of 2 dozen egge = ₹ 2.25 × 24 = ₹54

• HERE SELLING PRICE IS GREATER THAN COST PRICE , HENCE PROFIT.

Profit = Selling price - Cost price

profit = 54 - 48

profit = ₹ 6

Note :- if

• Cost price > selling price , Loss
• Selling price > Cost price , profit
