Given :

Number of juice containers bought by Ramesh = 10 from one shop and 18 from another shop.

Capacity of the containers is same.

Cost of per container is RS 150.

To find:

The total money spend by Ramesh.

Solution :

To find total number of juice containers bought by Ramesh from the two shops , operation applied is addition

Number of containers bought from one shop = 10

Number of containers bought from another shop = 18

Total number of juice containers

10 + 18 = 28.

As capacity of the each container is same so price of all the containers will be same.

So to find amount spent by Ramesh operation applied is Multiplication

Cost of one container = RS 150

Cost of 28 containers = 28 × 150 RS

= 4200 rs

Hence total money spent by Ramesh is RS 4200.
