working hours in one day = 8
total days = 25
so, total working hours = 25 × 8 = 200
now, he has to finish it in 20 days.
so,
total hours = 200
no. of days required = 20
working hours per day = 200 ÷ 20 = 10
he needs to work 10 hours daily.
total days = 25
so, total working hours = 25 × 8 = 200
now, he has to finish it in 20 days.
so,
total hours = 200
no. of days required = 20
working hours per day = 200 ÷ 20 = 10
he needs to work 10 hours daily.

Solution:-
The given data can be tabulated as below.
Work........25............20
Hours........8..............x
as days are decreased then hours will be increased. So, this is an inverse variation.
Therefore,
20*x = 25*8
⇒ x = 200/20
⇒ x = 10 hours
So, Ramesh has to do per day 10 hours work to finish the same work in 20 days.
