Step-by-step explanation:

Given: speed1 = 4 km/h; speed2 = 5 km/h ; distance = ? km

Equation when speed = 4 km/h

distance =( 4 * t) km

Equation when speed = 5 km/h

distance = 5 * (t - 7/60) km

Since the distance is the same we equate them as 4 * t = 5 * (t-7/60)

4 * t = 5 * t - (35 /60) and it becomes ( 5 * t) -( 4 * t) = - 35/60 hour

and finally t = 35/60 hour

distance = (4 * 35/60) km

distance between villages = 35/15 km = 7/3 km = 2 and 1/3 km
