Ramesh is 10 years older than Karim. After 4 years, twice Ramesh's age will be equal to thrice karim's age. How old are Ramesh and Karim at present??

Let the age of Karim is x years and the age of Ramesh is 10 years more than karim's age i.e. ( x + 10 ) years,





After 4 years,
Age of Karim= present age + 4 years = ( x + 4 ) years
Age of Ramesh = present age + 4 years = ( x + 10 + 4 ) years = ( x + 14 ) years

2 × Age of Ramesh after 4 years = 3 × Age of Karim after Karim

➡ 2( x + 14 ) = 3( x + 4 )

➡ 2x + 28 = 3x + 12

Present age of Karim = x = 16 years
Present age of Ramesh = ( x + 10 ) = ( 16 + 10 ) = 26 years
