Let Ramesh buy Petrol in a month=x litres

He saves 25% of x every month

He saves petrol=25% of x

=\frac{25}{100}*x\\ \\=\frac{x}{4}  \: litres

Given,

He saves 20 litres petrol every month

\mathbf{\frac{x}{4}=20} \\\\\mathbf{x=20\times4}\\\\\mathbf{x=80}

Ramesh buy 80 litres of petrol every month

Consumption=total-saving

consumption=80-20

Consumption=60 litres
